Okay, so else thinks that Chris Rice might have jumped the shark with his current adult-contemporary, easy-listenin’ hit, “When Did You Fall In Love With Me?”
I listened to an interview with him recently about this song and what was the story behind it, and he mentioned something to the effect that there were a million great love songs out there and he just wanted to write one.

Okay, quick disclaimer: I know Rose, in fact, she’s one of my oldest friends and I lurve her. She’s gorgeous, funny, has five kids, and sings like an angel – what’s not to love?

Well, not completely new; but she’s had a complete overhaul on her website, and I have to say it looks sharp! Twila Paris is probably the premier Christian songwriter of her generation, with such classics as Lamb of God, How Beautiful, We Bow Down, We Exalt You, and more. Okay, mush part over. Steven Curtis Chapman has had quite the productive career with over 25 albums to date, both his own and collaborations, and has come a long way from his bluegrass/countryish sound at the beginning of his career to a more top 40, contemporary Christian music sound now.

Well, here’s a blast from the past!! Can you believe this? Do you still have your old 2nd Chapter of Acts albums around?
I have the Roar of Love album they did; it was a concept piece going through C.S. Lewis’s The Chronicles of Narnia. Pretty decent piece of work other than the enormously cheesy “Turkish Delight “song…I totally loved the “Are You Going to Narnia”, “Son of Adam, Daughter of Eve”, and “White Stag” songs however. Gosh, I loved the whole thing, even the Turkish Delight kind of grows on you after a while.

I’ve been to Women of Faith now twice and every time I come away with a renewed sense of purpose and renewal.
One of the biggest things I like about WOF has got to be the music. The Women of Faith Worship Team is awesome, and the music selected always speaks to a wide variety of tastes, from contemporary Christian worship to classic hymns.
