While I was never a big fan of Rich Mullins, I appreciated the huge legacy that he left to Christian music, and I remember vividly hearing that he had passed away in a car accident a few years ago. One of the best Rich Mullins sites out there is titled Calling Out Your Name; basically, it’s a loving tribute to Mullins and his music. I was able to see him in one of his last concerts before all this in Seaside, Oregon, and my husband actually chatted with him for close to an hour.
