Top Ten Larry Norman Songs
I started listening to Larry Norman’s music when I was about 16, at summer camp, and I was a counselor/jack of all trades. I remember very clearly lying on the lake shore and listening to So Long Ago In The Garden about forty hundred times. Here then, are my picks for the top Larry Norman songs - I’d love to hear what your favorites are as well.
- She’s a Dancer: from So Long Ago the Garden, part of the Compleat Trilogy.
- I’ve Got To Learn to Live Without You again from a part of the Compleat Trilogy, Only Visiting This Planet.
- Six Sixty Six, from In Another Land (+2).
- I Am The Six O’Clock News from Only Visiting This Planet.
- Hard Luck Bad News from Larry Norman - Something New Under the Son.
- If God Is My Father from In Another Land (+2).
- One Way from In Another Land (+2).
- I Am A Servant from In Another Land (+2).
- Strong Love, Strange Peace from In Another Land (+2).
- Shot Down from In Another Land (+2).
As you can see I’ve got quite a few from In Another Land (+2) but that’s because it’s a compilation album of sorts. You pretty much can’t go wrong no matter what album of Larry’s you decide to purchase, in my opinion.

I think you left out a few classis ones, Rock that doesn’t role, sweet song of salvation, Why don’t you look into Jesus, Why Should The Devil…?, The Great American Novel, up in Canada. and honorable mention to (watch what your doing.) Anyway I’m thinking you have to do top 25 for Larry. We cant limit him to top 10.
