Whatever happened to Gary Chapman?
Gary Chapman, while a very good singer/songwriter in his own right, will probably always be remembered as the husband of Amy Grant (who is now married to Vince Gill). Gary has also since remarried but he’s kind of dropped off the map. Here’s a few links I dug up:

Have been wondering the same thing –
where has he gone, he was great.
I “Knew” Gary in around 1975-76. We attended Southwestern A/G U. (His father, as well as mine were Assemblies of God Pastors). I knew he married Amy Grant ( A HUGE christian artist, at the time). I know they divorced, I know that Gary continued in christian music and recorded several albums. I have always admired Gary, (he played awsome guitar) and had a good voice, but I think his best talent was in writing songs that really reached me). I don’t know were he is or what he is doing at the present. I am about the same age as Gary, divorced and as stated before also a son 0f A/G Pastor. We have alot in common and I have thought about just sitting down and talking to him. The things we could talk about!!?? Anyway thats not much, but thats all I know about Gary Chapman.
Gary Chapman was arrested for drugs in 2006. He plead guilty in early 2007, and his license was revoked. He’s also currently separated from his current wife, Jennifer. It’s all public information. Hope it helps!
