Phil Wickham Artist Review
I just read a great review of Phil Wickham by Natalie Jost on her blog the other day. Why do I think it’s a great review? Because I’ve never heard of Phil Wickham, but Natalie’s words and thoughts about the music encourage me to find out more information about this artist and try and find some samples to listen to if I can. Here’s a snippet of Natalie’s words:
Another good driving song, which is bound to loose my chains no matter what, but Phil makes it pull me back down too. It’s like the ultimate love song, but not for a woman… for God. It rips at my heart, amplifying the desperation I have some days to just get to Heaven and forget all of this while at the same time grounding me in the knowledge that we’re here for a purpose and we’re not to usurp God’s plan by calling for Heaven too soon.

I just wanted to let Phil Wickham know what a gift the Lord has given him in singing. He has a beautiful and anointed voice to where you feel God’s spirit. Not very many people have that gift because they tend to loose sight of the purpose of what worship is. The Lord is the one to whom all glory goes to. The lyrics are beautiful and encouraging. I like to listen to Pastor Jack Hibbs on the radio and thats where I heard Phil’s voice. Its on the intro of his sermon. I kept wondering who that was so my husband went searching the web and called just to find out who the artist was for me. May the Lord continue to use you and bless your ministry I know it blessed me.
God Bless,
Debbie
