Here’s another off-topic post, but I’m needing some insight. Hopefully you’ll let me through with this one today.
I’m looking to find some Bible software to put on my laptop for use in preparing and facilitating Bible studies. If I’ve got a wi-fi connection I’ll usually surf on over to eBible.com for everything I need. But no wi-fi means no Holy Word of God.
So, I’m looking for two things, hopefully in one-package.

It’s been awhile since we’ve talked about Christine Evans, but that doesn’t mean she hasn’t been busy moving forward in the world of contemporary Christian music. She’s recently launched her new website, which looks great, as well as a revamped MySpace page.

The reason I jumped over to the Audio Adrenaline website tonight was because I’ve been asked to play the trumpet for an upcoming series at church. No big deal right? Ummm, yeah except that I haven’t played my trumpet for pretty much over a decade.
One of the song charts I was sent to look over is DC-10 by Audio Adrenaline, from their Underdog album. The other is Kind and Generous by Natalie Merchant.

Guess it’s a little too late now to actually pre-order this CD, even though the AudioA.com website is still promoting it.
I’m wondering if you can still get it for $12.95.
If you can, that’s a great deal on a CD, regardless of the artist. I also failed to mention that this one is autographed.
Maybe it’s not too late.

The most recent, and youngest, American Idol winner is releasing the first track from her upcoming album.
The single will be available today on AOL’s PopEater music blog. The track title is “Tattoo” and talks about the ending a relationship.
Sparks, the youngest winner in the Fox show’s six seasons, said her debut album, set for Nov. 20, will be a musical mixture of styles including pop-rock — in the edgy key of Clarkson, one of her role models — and the dramatic ballads that made her stand out on the “Idol” stage. She hopes to add some country, too.

This weekend in church we’re working on a series focus about the masks we put on and make people think we’re all perfect and happy, when sometimes we’re falling apart inside.
