Eowyn - Silent Screams
I’ve never heard of this singer before getting a random e-mail announcing her album “Silent Screams” now being available. I’m checking out her MySpace page now and listening to some of her music.
It’s a little heavy rocking guitars for my normal preference, but reminds me of Evanescence and that’s a good thing.
Update: I messaged Eowyn via MySpace earlier because I saw she was available online. She had this to say about her work in general and on “Silent Screams” her 3rd album.
I’m an independent artist out of Nashville, TN. I guess you could say I’ve been around for awhile as i have done 3 albums, but this time around I’m really excited because I think this album showcases everything I’ve wanted to portray vocally, musically, and stylistically.
My passion in for the youth, especially those who are hurting. My main purpose in doing this whole music ministry is to reach them and share the love of Christ with them. My new album, “Silent Screams” is about those who may be suicidal, depressed, cutters, or in pain, but are screaming inside. This album is meant to encourage them to begin to scream aloud and encourage others to listen to their cry for help!
