For the first time ever a Christian group has been featured on the cover of Billboard magazine. I’d say that’s pretty huge news for Third Day and their fans. Shoot, it’s good news for people who’ve never heard of Third Day’s music as well because now they just might listen and hear the gospel through the lyrics of Third Day.
The article “Third Day Keeps the Faith“, the magazine talks about the crossover popularity of this group and how they keep pleasing fans and selling out concerts wherever they go.

An album I’ve been listening to for awhile now has been the Dispatch Zimbabwe “Live at Madison Square Garden”. Although probably not found in your local Christian Music store, it’s a benefit album to help the people of Zimbabwe, so I figured I’d review it here and also figure out a way to give a copy of the album away to one of our readers.

A super happy birthday wish to Mark Lee of Third Day. I’m not sure how old he is today, but as you can tell from the photo he still knows how to rock out at a concert.

I just read an update on my friend Ryan’s site and found out some details for the viewing and services for Maria Chapman who was tragically killed earlier this week.
Visitation will be held on Friday from 5pm-8pm at Christ Presbyterian Church in Nashville. A memorial service will be held on Saturday at 11am at the church as well. Both events are open to the public. The Chapman family requests that instead of flowers, donations be made to:

I just received an update on twitter from Jeremy Camp requesting prayer for Steven Curtis Chapman’s family. It appears his daughter was killed. Don’t have any more details. I’ll get more details as soon as I can.
UPDATE: According to this article in The Tennessean newspaper, 5 year old Maria was hit by a Toyota Land Cruiser in their family driveway. Adding to the tragedy is that the vehicle was driven by Steven Curtis Chapman’s teenage son and Maria’s older brother. Maria is one of the Chapman’s adopted children.

I was just cruising around Cindy Morgan’s website looking for the best place to purchase her album and saw this contest their having.
