My Last Post on Christian Music Fan
Greetings everyone! If you’re a regular reader first let me say “THANK YOU”, you’ve been great and I’ve absolutely loved hearing your comments and encouragement. Secondly, it’s with a sad and frustrated heart that I have to say this will be my last post on Christian Music Fan.
b5media has decided to do a little bit of a down-sizing and eliminate some of the smaller niche blogs in the network. Regretfully, Christian Music Fan is one of the blogs that’s being unplugged.
I was really picking up more and more momentum lately though with contacts in the industry and more and more albums that were coming through for reviews and give-a-ways. It’s for this reason that I’m not going to let my writing about Christian music fall dark and silent.
I’m still having discussions through a variety of options on where I’ll be taking my writing and landing with my future posts. If you’re not already, stay tuned to my personal blog, subscribe to my RSS feed, follow me on twitter, add me as a friend on Facebook or MySpace. I’ll sure to be announcing my new Christian music writing destination on those locations soon.

I guess that means they own the domain? Why can’t they transfer it to you and let you continue?
Love the Joe shirt, BTW.
I agree, export the data and move the blog over to somewhere else… sorry to hear you will not be posting here any more, but I have your personal blog on my reader as well…
Yeah, one of the benefits and great things of working for b5 is that they took care of all the technical aspects of the blog and the ownership. In a time like this though it’s tough. I think there’s been talk about bringing it back sometime in the future so they’re not offering the domain to me if I were interested. Thanks for the support and kind words guys.
Awww this is so sad alway stop by to read your article but God have others plan for you. Keep doing the great work!
I agree you’ve really been amping things up lately and I’ve enjoyed the posts more and more. I wish CMF could have continued.
BTW everybody, this is a good reminder that whatever blog you read, don’t just read it via the feed. Visit the blog and click on the ads now and then. It only takes a moment or two but it proves that you are interested. No matter how well loved, well known and well written a blog is, if its readership isn’t visible to the owners and advertisers, it is hard to create the rational for continuing it.
Support your favorite bloggers!
Hope to see you at BWE Jason!
