I found out earlier this evening that Word Label group recording artist David Phelps is in concert right now on the south side of Indianapolis. My good friend is the Director of Production and Technology, I really should have known about this concert earlier.
It’s amazing to me that they would schedule this concert on the same night that Casting Crowns is in concert in downtown Indianapolis.

Casting Crowns are appearing at Pepsi Coliseum this evening with The Altar & The Door Tour. The Pepsi Coliseum is on the Indiana State Fairgrounds in Indianapolis, IN.
They’ll be appearing with Leeland and John Waller. Tickets are still available and more information can be found by visiting the New Covenant Productions website.

I’m pretty miffed right now. Just realized that the 38th Annual Dove Awards will not be televised this evening. Instead they’ll be televised in May. I checked the scheduled airtimes so far and there’s not a single station showing it in the Indianapolis market.
That just stinks!
It seals the deal though for me for next year. I’m going down in person for the week next year!

I’ll be picking up 6 tickets tomorrow for this concert that’s being held as part of the Indiana State Fair. It’s on August 10th, so still a little ways off. I’ve been to a Smitty concert, although it’s been awhile, and I went to the Third Day “Live Wire” tour concert a couple of years ago. I’ve never been to a Jars of Clay concert. Anyone had an experience with them in concert? Let me know. I of course will provide a review and photos after the concert.
